The Best Travel Instagram Accounts

This winter just won’t end and I’m starting to get stir crazy. Many of us find a glimmer of hope in the internet by gazing at other people’s adventurous lives on Instagram. The widely popular photo sharing application has become a part of our lives as we live vicariously through other people’s pictures. We found our favorite Instagram accounts that offered us a relief from winter and showed us the warmer side of life. These accounts feature amazing travel pictures and will get you out of your winter slump.

This successful travel blogger has an awesome instagram feed that takes you with her as she travels the world. Kiersten Rich left a successful career in finance to wander around the globe and share her tales. Thankful she ventured out of her comfortable nest and decided to travel. She has visited over 50 countries and circumnavigated the globe a few times over. Give her a follow if you want some great photos and even better stories.

This account takes an interesting approach to the standard travel photos. The account is ran by a couple, Murad and Natalia Osmann and al their pictures are of Natalia walking away from the camera and extending her arm back to Murad and the camera. The gesture is tagged “follow me to…, which has become an internet sensation. The couple went viral in 2012 and now every blogger copies the couple.

This account is more of an aggregate site since it takes viewer submissions and posts them. Check this page out if you like variety in your feed and want a little bit of everything. Not all pictures are curated so you will see plenty of original shots.

It’s the story you will hear a lot about travel bloggers but most left their normal jobs to travel the world. This holds true to Stephanie Be who runs @StephBeTrvael and is experiencing full time wanderlust. Check her page out to see her venture to over 40 countries and she blogs about her experiences as well. She is based out of New York so expect a mix of city and travel pictures.

She loves the beach so expect a ton of awesome waves crashing and exclusive locations that the average traveler would never see. Since she posts other people’s pictures, expect a wide variety of locations.

Some of us travel for vacation but the few lucky ones get to travel for a living.   The instagram account @Pausethemoment is run by a blogger named Ryan who originally set out on a six-month trip seven years ago, I guess the trip is going well. He is based out of Playa del Carmen in Mexico so expect tons of beach pics with deep blue waters and the occasional margarita.
