TSA is Finding Guns at an Alarming Rate
People don’t give the TSA enough credit for the hard job they are trying to do. Can you imagine being in charge of keeping the millions of Americans and visitors safe while traveling and the intense pressure that must be? The TSA confiscates guns, knives and other dangerous weapons daily and the number of guns is increasing at alarming rates.

The Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) has been around since we were attacked in September of 2001 and they have done a great job keeping us all safe. Most people have no idea the crazy stuff people try to sneak through security at airports and luckily TSA has an awesome Instagram account to show us all. You have to follow @TSA for the craziest pictures of prohibited items that are found throughout the country’s airports.
If you think the guns are bad, in the same week a replica suicide bomb was found in a passenger’s checked bag in El Paso, TX. Why was this passenger flying with a fake suicide bomber vest? Passengers also tried to sneak smoke grenades, stun guns, loaded magazines, countless knives and hidden cane swords.
Recently the TSA has said publically that they aren’t looking for drugs anymore at security checkpoints but if they find them they will contact the proper authorities. This was made policy because passengers are bringing more and more guns aboard planes and it’s getting harder for agents to patrol.
Can you imagine what people are thinking bringing loaded weapons on airplanes? Are they trying to take the law into their own hands? Just a few months ago an American shot up the Ft. Lauderdale Airport with a weapon he legally checked into his bags. What is going on in this world where people need to fly with weapons?
TSA should be recognized for their hard work and tireless fight against these numbnuts who are trying to sneak weapons on planes. We should stop complaining about the long lines at security and instead applaud these agents for their hard work and continued vigilance at keeping us all safe. Until people stop trying to bring these dangerous items on board commercial airlines, we will need TSA to continue to fight the good fight and keep the air safe and weapons free.
Fly safe thanks to the tireless work of TSA all across the United States.
